Eastward is a band founded by Arash Badie, an Iranian tar player and composer.

The Eastward’s repertoire comprises of original pieces which are set to a combination of
different musical cultures, such as middle eastern, western harmony and musical forms. In
addition, by applying auditory factors, feelings and emotions, memories and past images,
accompanied by various elements, Arash produces his music, not too complicated nor too simple
collection as his personal impression.
