In recent years, he has been active in the field of world music, specifically Eastern European, Turkish, Arabic, Gypsy and Balkan music.

​

• In 2026, he founded the Barcelona-based Turbo Balkan Brass Band, “Barna Sabor Trubača”, a wind and percussion octet that performs modern Balkan music with a traditional ensemble.​

• In 2026, he founded the ‘'Orlando Cialli Middle Eastern Trio”, of which he is the soloist and artistic director. The trio performs a repertoire of modal music from the Middle East and Anatolia.​

• Since 2025, he has been collaborating with the Greek singer Stella Papalamprou, who presents a reinterpretation of the traditional repertoire associated with the Greek cultures of Epirus, Thrace and Pontus.​

• Since 2024, he collaborates with the Italian band “Baro Drom Orkestar”, which plays a repertoire of traditional and original songs from around the Mediterranean basin and the Middle East.

• Mert Pekduraner, on clarinet and duduk, original music combining modern compositions with traditional Turkish and Anatolian sounds.​

• ’Abdullah Kaymak Sufi Circle & Meşk”, on saxophone, a collective of Istanbul-based musicians who perform a repertoire of traditional Sufi music from North Africa and the Middle East.​

• Rewşan, on saxophone, clarinet and duduk, Kurdish and Armenian repertoire.​

• “East meets West” project of the Jong Metropole Orkest, directed by Tom Cohen, on saxophone and duduk.​

• “Trio Beinelmilel”, a trio consisting of two saxophones and davul, which plays a repertoire of gypsy music from Thrace and Anatolia, mirroring the typical zurna/davul formation.​

• “Udgang”, on clarinet, original compositions influenced by traditional Turkish music.​

• “Nevi Ensemble”, on saxophone, Arabic, Turkish and Greek music.​

• “Eastward”, on piano, original compositions influenced by traditional Persian music.​

• “Carlama Orkestar”, on tenor axophone, original repertoire in Balkan style.​

• “Meraki Balkan Orkestar”, on saxophone & clarinet, east-European, gypsy, klezmer, Greek, Turkish and Arabic music.​

• “Fantomatik Orchestra”, on tuba, jazz and funk repertoire for brass band.​

• “La Brasserie”, on saxophone & clarinet, traditional east-European music.​

• “Balagan Cafè Orkestar”, on soprano saxophone, klezmer ensemble of the Florence Synagogue conducted by Enrico Fink.​

• “Finister”, on keyboards, indie-rock original compositions.

In the previous years he has played in various chamber music ensembles such as duo, trio, quartet, quintet and ensemble of saxophones, duo with piano, performing pieces from the classical repertoire up to ancient and contemporary music. He played from 2012 to 2018 with the Auris saxophone quartet offering a vast repertoire ranging from ancient to classical music, up to contemporary pieces.

He collaborated as saxophonist with the Italian Youth Orchestra under the direction of the masters E. Rosadini, N. Paszkowski and G. Tavares. He collaborated in the role of first alto saxophone with the Instrumental Chamber of Prato under the direction of Maestro C. Franklin. He collaborated with the Orchestra of the Municipal Theater of Bologna under the direction of Maestro M. Angius in the role of first saxophone for the production of "Don Perlimplin" by Bruno Maderna. In 2017 he participated in the production of "Studies for the intonation of the sea" by composer Salvatore Sciarrino directed by Maestro M. Angius, organized by the Teatro alla Scala in Milan as part of the review "Salvatore Sciarrino - The echo of voices".
